Authors
Rebecca Pedrazzi
In the era of big data, Web 3.0, and high-definition digitized culture, we have at our disposal new tools and technologies to create novel ways of fruition as for our digitized heritage. Some virtuous case studies are launched here to show the use of AI to create interdisciplinary connections, and to present the reuse of the digitized cultural heritage: from Art Explorer (MET Museum) to the Smart Archive Search project (Polo del ‘900 in Turin). A reflection on the potential and on the critical issues the Metaverse offers, and a conclusive in-depth report on the reuse of heritage as a dataset to be employed by AI Artists to create works of art.
